Our jewelry is crafted using quality materials including 10K solid gold, 14K gold vermeil over sterling silver, and sterling silver. Our designs may also feature natural diamonds, gemstones, and pearls, depending on the piece. You can find the exact materials used on each product page.

Elaro’s 14K gold vermeil features a 2.5-micron layer of 14K gold over sterling silver. Unlike standard gold plating, which is typically only 0.05–0.1 microns thick, our vermeil offers greater durability and the luxurious look of solid gold without the solid-gold price tag.

Elaro’s solid gold jewelry is made from 10K solid gold, while our 14K gold vermeil features a thick layer of 14K gold over sterling silver. Unlike standard gold plating, which is much thinner, our vermeil offers enhanced durability and the luxurious look of solid gold at a more accessible price point.

Choose 10K solid gold if you’re looking for a piece you can wear every day for years to come; it’s durable, timeless, and made to last. Choose 14K gold vermeil if you love the look and feel of fine gold jewelry but want a more accessible option. Our vermeil pieces feature a substantial layer of 14K gold over sterling silver, giving you a beautiful, high-quality gold finish without the solid-gold price tag.

Yes. All Elaro jewelry is nickel-free and suitable for sensitive skin. Whether you choose 10K solid gold, 14K gold vermeil over sterling silver, or sterling silver, every piece is crafted with quality materials and made without nickel.

To keep your jewelry looking its best, store pieces separately in a dry place and avoid unnecessary contact with perfumes, lotions, household chemicals and moisture. Make sure to visit our Jewelry Care Guide for essential tips and information on maintaining the beauty of your pieces.

Our 10K solid gold jewelry is designed for everyday wear and can be worn in the shower or while swimming. For 14K gold vermeil and sterling silver pieces, we recommend removing your jewelry before showering or swimming to help preserve its beautiful finish and shine for as long as possible. Chlorine, salt water, and frequent exposure to soaps and chemicals can affect the appearance of jewelry over time, so a little extra care goes a long way.

Our 10K solid gold jewelry does not have a plated surface, so the gold will not fade or wear away. It is durable, suitable for everyday wear, and with regular care and cleaning, will maintain its beautiful shine for years.

Our gold vermeil is made with a thick layer of 14K gold over sterling silver, creating a durable, high-quality finish designed for regular wear. With proper care, your vermeil jewelry can maintain its beautiful gold finish for a long time. As with all jewelry, limiting frequent exposure to water, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals will help keep it looking its best.
